The company announced its new Rapid CG, an additional option for its integrated Granite and Slate production systems that simplifies the creation of data graphs. Rapid CG automatically integrates databases, RSS feeds, and custom actions within chart templates with reduced manual effort.
When you drag and drop a database from Microsoft Access or XML into Rapid CG, it connects to a template created in Inscriber GS CG (which is included in each Broadcast Pix system), and the information is automatically updated in specific fields within the template without the need to re-enter the data.
Because Rapid CG operates within specific fields, the operator can only change the data, and not the template. Data can include text and graphics, and photos can be changed automatically. RSS can also be used to update weather information and other data from the Web.
