Aptiv Digital (formerly Pioneer) Digital Technologies) announced the new and advanced versions of Passport Echo and Passport DCT, the navigation programs interactive for the cable industry. The company presented also a number of new applications that represent advances important features that are easy to handle by the Users.
The new version 2.7 of Passport Echo DVR IPG and the new version 2.7 of Passport DCT IPGs have two new primary applications: Interactive Video Mosaic and iSubscribe.
On the one hand, the application interactive video mosaic allows the cable operator to start new custom video paths that are represented in multiple and small video icons within the same screen. The viewers will be able to listen to the audio of a channel with only select a video icon with your remote. It is also you can learn more about the channel and program, or in the case of Passport Echo, also record the program selected.
Moreover, iSubscribe is a New Impulse Subscription app, advanced which allows the cable operator to create a library of the services offered as first-class channel packages or video on demand (VOD). Customers will be able to see the services, subscription descriptions and pricing, and then buy them, just by pressing a few buttons on your controller remote.
In addition to Interactive Video Mosaic and iSubscribe, Passport Echo trailers continue with a variety of new built-in applications: Remote Wizard provides a unique interactive tool that, passing through step, allows customers to program remote controls for multiple devices; Passport Weather offers the status of the weather at the local level and also in multiple cities with Accuweather's five continuous day predictions; and PassTime Games includes a pack of three card games, style solitary, in high resolution, including traditional Klondike Solitaire, Twenty One or Bust and 5 Card Stud Poker.
Passport Echo also provides customers with new and advanced developments such as the category of functions in IPG and superior handling of programs saved in DVR. For example, with Passport Echo the customers can enjoy all the recorded episodes of a complete series, by grouping the episodes of a program into a file and select them with the new Playback feature Automatic. All episodes can be seen from the beginning in the end.
The Passport Echo IPG too includes a redesigned menu of configurations with graphics in high resolution, settings organized into files expandable for better navigation and a video window of the size of a 1/4 screen showing the channel that is being seen in those moments. The new sorting options and filtering along with a variety of new features ensure a more enjoyable TV experience.
