In order to provide information on new technologies digital making their way into the television industry, Inviso, ADC and Excellence in Communications, carried out a seminar on digital infrastructure, in Mexico City.
In this event, similar to the event held ago some months in Brazil, TV Azteca and Televisa brought together their technicians and engineers for the presentation by Dean Rosenthal, ADC Marketing Manager for Broadcast and Cable Products conectivity, in which he offered detailed technical information that can serve as a guide to the decision-making process what the television plants must do, to adapt to the new demands of the HDTV call.
In his presentation, Rosenthal stressed that infrastructure wiring and connectors, as well as patch panels, constitute for television channels a very sensitive area and it is precisely on this type of products that companies like ADC have technology and expertise to guide your customers on the best options for each need.
The presentation had an eminently technical character and covered the definition of the basic parameters of signals Digital audio and video and the various methods for signal transport in broadcast facilities. After the theoretical aspects, there was a demonstration of the new ADC PPP Series programmable audio patch panel for AES audio and video panels series PPI, PPE (2.5Ghz and 3Ghz) and the new PPM (4.5Ghz) for HDTV.
In addition to private presentations for TV Azteca and Televisa, Dean Rosenthal's tour of Mexico, included a third presentation, attended by representatives of the public television channels such as the DGTVE, as well as several television channels, including Channel 11 and Channel 22.
