The company launched at NAB three new products of the series for LCD RM video monitoring. Ideal for mobile units, broadcast and news control rooms, and mirroring and post-production facilities, each new dual-interface RM series includes two HD/SD-SDI autosensors and analog composite inputs with embedded audio backup and eight-channel audio meters (VU and PPM).
The AMP2 audio monitor for 32Gbps helps the migration process to HD and 3Gbs transport video infrastructures. The new monitor displays up to 16 channels of "embedded" audio within a single 3Gbs signal.
The AMP1-E16-3G and AMP1-S16-3G monitors are the first of 1RU and 16 channels of 3Gbs audio and video. They provide monitoring of up to 16 channels of embedded audio within the same SDI signal. They also serve as an ideal solution for complex multichannel and surround sound applications in DTV and broadcast productions.
The HDCC-200 module encodes closecaption data in SD Line 21 (EIA-608/NTSC) or directly within the DTVCC (EIA-708/ATSC) transport stream, encoding two independent sources with unique closed-caption data or, when the signal output is to be used for another distribution, encodes two independent sources with identical data.
