SPTI plans to use the Teleset experience, one of the larger television production companies of Colombia, to expand its own growth in production along long and wide of Latin America and in the Hispanic market of the United States.
Founded in 1995, Teleset has proven capabilities in the genres of fiction, realities and contests. It has developed and produced more than 2000 hours of programming, which include high-tune telenovelas for Colombia. It has also locally produced important international formats and has developed original formats for exploitation international through investment in production companies for soap operas and dramatized, such as Primetime and Invento. Likewise, Teleset is a partner in 50% of the company of entertainment formats Si Hay Ideas, and an Ancillary, a talent search company.
SPTI is a leading producer of scripted programming and improvisation. In Latin America and for television networks in the United States, SPTI produces original libretto series, libretto formats and entertainment programming.
The agreement provides SPTI with a strategic presence of production in the region that has high facilities quality and experienced professionals; telset obtains a worldwide distribution network and production presence local outside Latin America.
