Rohde & Schwarz's ETL TV Analyzer now offers support options for ATSC's North American mobile digital television standard, US J.83/B cable standard and Japan's ISDB-T. In addition, software for automated test compliance of ATSC transmitters is being offered free of charge to current customers. By combining the functions of a TV, spectrum analyzer and MPEG analyzer with that of a power meter, manufacturer Rohde & Schwarz transformed its ETL equipment into an all-in-one multi-standard solution for transmission operators, transmitter manufacturers and regulatory authorities.
ETL makes it easy for users to execute all required measurements on TV transmitters and cable headends , making it an appropriate solution for quality assurance in transmission operations and modulators.
