Nucomm showcased the ProQ DTV IFB receiver, ideal as an IFB solution for ENG users during DTV transmissions, monitoring DTV signals via a DVB-ASI output, and streaming video over an IP connection to a laptop or other IP-enabled devices.
It has dual UHF/VHF antennas, two advanced silicone tuners and the sixth generation of VSB "demodulators". The ProQ contains an MPEG Layer 1/Layer 2 audio decoder capable of decoding two independent sound programs, delivering up to four channels and using bit rates of up to 32 kbps each.
Broadcasters can select the DTV channel and audio program identifiers using either the menus on the front panel of the LCD monitor or the web interface.
