Pierluigi Gazzolo was promoted to the position of Chief MTV Networks International's Operating Office, replacing Alex Ferrari, who will now be president of the Music Group and of the Logo brand for MTV Networks in the United States.
Gazzolo will be responsible for operations MTV Networks international. You will work closely with the MTVNI management team to guide the company on its next phase of growth and expansion and, at the same time, ensure that the Business and the creative forces of the company are effectively aligned in its portfolio of brands and businesses. In addition, you will have direct oversight of strategic services and MTVNI features.
Born in Italy and raised in El Salvador, Gazzolo has a degree in Communications from Florida International University and he currently lives in Miami Beach, Florida.
The new Head of Operations has been with MTV Networks Latin America for more than 15 years working in various roles. In 2005, he was named president of the company. Among its Gazzolo successfully led the efforts of the organization to regionalize its operations from Miami to Buenos Aires Aires, further strengthening MTVN's local offices Latin America, to achieve the highest level of connectivity with your audience and your customers. The process of regionalization included the creation of Buenos Aires Design Studio (BADS), which led to Buenos Aires being selected then as one of the creative centers of MTV Networks International and an important component for collaboration creative to its international channels.
Prior to joining MTV Networks Latin America, Gazzolo was part of the team that launched Telenoticias, the Telemundo channel which presents news in Spanish 24 hours a day.
