Litepanels introduced the new 1x1 LED luminaire Bi-Color. Until now, when filmmakers and videographers faced a change in lighting conditions between daylight and tungsten, they had to change luminaires completely, change lamps or use filters in front to the luminaire. The new 1x1 Bi-Color lights from Litepanels offer a single luminaire capable of generating the temperature of 3200° K or 5600° K color, or an infinite range of temperatures between the two.
The name Bi-Color comes from its design, which incorporates LEDs of both 3200° K and 5600° K. This allows a Production equipment carry a single light or a single type of lights to cover both daylight and tungsten conditions.
For greater versatility of these luminaires, they can vary the mix between LEDs for daylight and LEDs for tungsten, setting a color temperature at any point between 3200 and 5600° K. This can be done with a dial on the control or with a DMX lighting controller. Thus, the Bi-Color allows the user to make quick adjustments to adapt to unusual color temperature mixtures or to highlight skin tones.
The 1x1 Bi-Color luminaire includes the dimmers integrated Litepanels that allow to attenuate from 0 to 100% of Instantaneous way with minimal effect on color.
