The purchase of Thomson's line of digital cinema equipment which was previously part of its Grass business division Valley by Parter Capital Group, ended. The new company, Digital Film Technology (DFT) will be in charge of the marketing of the entire post-production line of Thomson.
The business contemplates the transfer of all the resources of the digital cinema equipment division, including personnel, intellectual property, products under manufacture, and spare parts.
DFT will offer and provide technical support to the entire line of products from Thomson's former post-production division, which includes the Spirit and Shadow families of Film scanners/Telecines/DataCines, the workflow tools for post-production Bones, and the LUTher color calibration system, among others.
