Software packages Multibridge 6.6, Decklink 6.6 and Intensity 1.8 were released by Blackmagic for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. All these versions also support the Mac version of Premiere Pro CS3 version Adobe 3.1.
Users of Blackmagic Design can now quickly find and preview media files using Cover Flow and Quick Look, included in Leopard. With this support for Premiere Pro CS3 and Leopard, you can also:
- Use a configuration preset of a project to capture and do playback using Apple's uncompressed codecs in high definition and standard definition, and codecs in Apple compressed DV in standard definition. Also preset settings can be used for standard and widescreen screen format in definition standard with both types of codecs.
- The new versions of software have preset settings for capture and playback using the 10-bit RGB codec of Blackmagic for 2k cinema and high definition video 4:4:4 enabling Mac users to edit movies with Premiere Pro CS3 v 3.1. This option is available on all Multibridge PCIe and DeckLink HD cards.
- Other options for Premiere Pro CS3 v 3.1 users include Insert and Assemble edit-to-tape for decks that support this type of functions, and control of devices via RS-422. Also available on all Multibridge cards PCIe and DeckLink HD.
