Argentina. ExpoTIC 2025, with a record number of more than 800 participants and the presence of leaders from the technological, institutional and academic sectors, concluded its new edition consolidating itself as the most relevant technology and innovation meeting in Patagonia.
Under the slogan "AI + 4.0: Applied intelligence, enhanced industry", the event brought together companies, professionals, entrepreneurs and public bodies to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on the regional productive matrix.
Claudia González, president of the Madrid Chamber of Entrepreneurs and Companies of Information and Communication Technology (CAMEETIC) highlighted: "We celebrate a historic ExpoTIC, with unprecedented participation and an in-depth debate on the challenges posed by artificial intelligence. The results show that Patagonia has the talent, the companies and the strategic vision to lead digital transformation processes in Argentina."
For his part, Nicolás Zurakoski, member of the CAMEETIC board of directors, pointed out that "this edition exceeded all expectations: we managed to bring together the main actors in the sector, consolidate links and draw a common roadmap for the technological development of the region. ExpoTIC is already a national reference point to discuss where the industry is going."
During the two days, the agenda included keynote speeches, technical presentations, networking rounds and an exhibition area where ICT companies, startups and regional providers showed their latest solutions in connectivity, automation, industry 4.0, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure and AI-based services.
One of the highlights was the presentation of Santiago Siri, an international leader in artificial intelligence and digital activist, who analyzed the opportunities that generative AI and advanced computing models represent for emerging economies such as Argentina. The specialist shared use cases applied to the public sector, industry and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, underscoring the need to strengthen local capacities to capture the value of the ongoing technological revolution.
In addition, provincial and municipal officials were present, who highlighted the strategic role of the technology industry in productive development and in the generation of qualified employment. Throughout the conference, programs aimed at training talent, the digitalization of SMEs, the modernization of the State and the promotion of AI-based solutions were presented.
With a proposal that combined knowledge, innovation and networking, ExpoTIC 2025 reaffirmed its mission to boost technological growth in the region and promote the integration of the entire digital ecosystem.
