Brazil. Vidiexco will be present at SET Expo 2025 to present all Sony's new products, as well as to support its network of local resellers representing other brands in its portfolio.
José Cadavieco Jr., CEO of Vidiexco, explained that during the event, Vidiexco, together with Sony Professional Solutions, will present Sony's new OCELLUS for the first time, an advanced markerless camera tracking system designed for virtual production, augmented reality and VFX.
Compact, accurate and compatible with any camera, OCELLUS allows you to capture motion data and metadata in real time, streamlining workflow and offering unprecedented creative freedom, as well as requiring no additional annual licensing fees.
In addition, the Sony VENICE 2 Extension System Mini (CBK3621XS) will be on display again, an accessory that allows the sensor block to be separated from the body of the CineAlta VENICE 2 camera via an ultra-light cable of up to 12 meters. This design offers maximum flexibility in tight spaces, mounting on cranes, stabilizers or special rigs, without compromising image quality or camera performance.
Its compact size and low weight make it the ideal solution for creative shots in environments where space and mobility are crucial. The Mini was officially introduced in Latin America during the last SEMANA ABC expo at the Cinemateca Brasileira, where it became one of the most visited products.
On the VINTEN side, the new Versine 360 will also be present at the expo, an innovative fluid head that offers exceptional motion control and camera support in live productions and studio environments. Its 360-degree continuous rotation design, combined with high-precision engineering, allows for smooth and stable movements that meet the demands of high-level professional productions.
"SET EXPO is the ideal setting to showcase how cutting-edge technology can transform audiovisual production in the region," said Cadavieco Jr. "The OCELLUS, the Extension System Mini and the Versine 360 are clear examples of solutions that raise the creative and technical level of any production."
In addition, Vidiexco will be supporting its network of local resellers representing leading VIDENDUM brands, such as Anton Bauer, Autocue, Autoscript, Avenger, LitePanels, Manfrotto, OConnor, Quasar Science, Sachtler, SmallHD, Teradek, Vinten and Wooden Camera, reaffirming its commitment to offer comprehensive solutions to the audiovisual industry.
SET EXPO 2025 will be held in São Paulo from August 19 to 21.
