Argentina. The CCK, an emblematic building of the City of Buenos Aires, former Palace of Posts and Telegraphs, has more than 100,000 square meters of surface area and an infrastructure at the height of the most important cultural centers in the world.
Inside it has the National Auditorium, the Argentine Hall, the Great Lamp and the Dome that together combine the high heritage value of the existing building with the most modern technology.
In 2010 the CCK was inaugurated, in the historic building of the Correo Argentino. It has an organ with 3500 pipes. Viditec participates in the tender for distribution engineering and video recording.
Until 2022, all audiovisual engineering services were rented. But starting this year, it was decided to invest in local audiovisual infrastructure: Sony cameras, video sitcher and Xpeak intercom system. The Xpeak is provided for the operation of the Symphony Hall and the Chamber Hall, the smaller one.
The technical department decided to implement an intercom system for the council. It is made up of desktop computers, wireless and wired belptacks. The wired ones go to the cameras and the wireless ones are aimed at the personnel who move through the spaces.
AEQ XPEAK is an intercom system that incorporates virtual network technology, through an assistant for automatic global interconnection, which avoids the difficulties of creating the virtual network and configuring the devices to work on it. Thus, different hardware or software user panels are interconnected, as if they all reside in the same physical production site, whether they are on the same LAN network, or if they are scattered in different places with Internet access.
You don't need to have a static IP or need dynamic DNS, or set up port forwarding, because each user panel is automatically configured according to the local network of your location. It works out of the box in all network environments, even on very restrictive networks. AEQ XPEAK includes physical rack and desktop panels, as well as wired and wireless beltpacks.
The use of IP technology throughout the assembly of the project allows it to offer great versatility in the operation.
The project has been carried out thanks to the collaboration of the integrator VIDITEC.
