SIGMA has just signed a distribution contract with Merlin Distributor, why was it chosen by them for this deal and what is it about?
Mark Amir-Hamzeh: SIGMA America has signed an authorized distribution agreement with Merlin for the Brazilian market. Without a doubt, their existing sales and marketing establishments in this market, the ability to provide customer support and after-sales support are key to this agreement, in which we will supply the complete line of SIGMA Art, Sports and Contemporary lenses, along with the fp series of cameras, so that they can develop them together with their solid network of retailers in this market.
What is Sigma's current positioning in Latin America and what are your expectations with this agreement?
Mark Amir-Hamzeh: SIGMA enjoys a strong reputation globally for our high-performance product lines, choice choice, overall image quality, and total long-term consumer value. We anticipate that our partnership with Merlin will help us expand our market share in this important and growing market.
Let's talk about the products in the SIGMA market, what do you think is the difference between your company's products and those of the competition?
Mark Amir-Hamzeh: SIGMA manufactures exceptional lenses for most major camera systems, including Sony E-mount, Fujifilm X-mount, Canon EF and RF mounts, Nikon F-mount and Z-mounts, and for the L-mount system, compatible with still and video cameras from SIGMA, Leica, Panasonic, Blackmagic Design and DJI.
Why do they claim that their lenses are ideal for the Canon EOS R line of cameras?

Finally, what idea can we end...
Mark Amir-Hamzeh: In many ways, photographers, filmmakers, and their local shops are all intertwined with the community in which they live and work. It is through our strong relationships with distributors and sellers around the world that the advantages and benefits of SIGMA become apparent and are recognized for the first time. We know how important word-of-mouth feedback and peer-to-peer recommendations are in this industry, and through our partnership with Merlin Distributor, we hope to gain more loyal followers in their network.
