The 39th edition of the ANDICOM 2024 ICT Congress once again has the honor of enriching its academic, commercial and networking agendas with the participation, for the second time, of Japan as a Guest Country, which will allow it to present advances in technology and open opportunities for bilateral business.
Japan is synonymous with innovation and leadership in the development and implementation of advanced technologies. From advances in consumer electronics to cutting-edge robotics and developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI), this Asian country has led the race to the future.
The precision and creativity with which they develop revolutionary technologies are an inexhaustible source of inspiration; iconic examples include AI research, 5G connectivity, smart cities, agriculture, disaster response, and space exploration.
These innovations will be presented at ANDICOM 2024, a congress organized by CINTEL (Center for Research and Development in Information and Communication Technologies), which will take place from September 4 to 6, 2024 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
The inclusion of Japan as a Guest Country for ANDICOM 2024 also reflects the importance of global collaboration. In the words of Manuel Martínez Niño, Executive Director of CINTEL, "Japan's presence as a guest country at ANDICOM 2024 is not only a cause for celebration, but also an opportunity to reflect on how we can apply the principles of successful economic and technological development in our own realities. Japan reminds us that dedication, resilience, innovation, and collaboration are the foundations on which a vibrant future can be built. I hope we can all make the most of this opportunity to learn, be inspired and move forward together towards a brighter tomorrow."
The announcement that Japan is the Guest Country of ANDICOM 2024 was made at the last edition of the Congress. On that occasion, the ambassador to Colombia, Takasugi Masahiro, thanked and expressed the importance of being invited for the second time, after 2018.
