Mexico. With an increase in its catalog of solutions and the brands it represents in Mexico, Luma Media Solutions celebrated its first anniversary within the framework of ExpoPantalla 2024, held in Mexico City.
With a notable increase in its booth at the exhibition and with several brands present, the first evaluation of the new Mexican company is positive and with a growth perspective in the future. With developers such as Telestream, Synamedia, Litepanels, FOR-A, TSL, Vislink, SI Media, among other firms.
"It has been a very successful year, in which we have done very good projects, where customers have trusted and more brands have joined. Today LUMA has been consolidating, with a view to growth and the future," said Marco Rabadán, CEO of the company.
"We are growing in what we show in these events. Today we present nine brands, although they are not all the ones we represent, but we offer the solutions of all of them and they are the suppliers that were able to accompany us at the stand. We have more than 20 people present from the brands who accompany us and serve our customers," he added.
With projects that they have started and implemented and that they will develop even more in the future, he told TVyVIDEO: "we have different ones in other areas such as production, production houses, we have products that cover other verticals, not only television stations, but also related to audio and video."
He stated that one of the topics in which they offer solutions is artificial intelligence, in which they offer solutions, which, although they can be further developed, and are advancing in an agile way at an appropriate technological pace. "In artificial intelligence we have some interesting solutions. We have teleprompters that are operated with artificial intelligence; still others who can switch. Artificial intelligence definitely helps to improve processes. With Telestream we have artificial intelligence to generate video metadata, as well as closed captioning; with SI Media we also have artificial intelligence solutions for MAM metadata; It is a tool that companies have gradually been incorporating. It is not to replace regular flow, but to help improve and make it more efficient. Also in the virtual production part we have Quasar Science as a solution."
In addition to special guests, the celebration of the first anniversary was attended by representatives of the brands they represent in Mexico and LUMA's technical, marketing, sales and support teams, headed by the management team, made up of Marco Rabadán, Mariano Simonetta and Luz Mejía.
