Venezuela. As part of its short- and medium-term plan, the Venezuelan company CanTV, state-owned, announced that it will have its own streaming service, which will be launched in the coming months.
Jesús Aldana, president of Cantv, was in charge of making the announcement, during an interview for the 17th anniversary of the nationalization of the company. He stressed that the company is preparing other vertical products that will be launched on the market soon.
Although he did not give further details about the new streaming service, he highlighted his commitment to the high quality of telecommunications services provided by the entity, despite the blockades that Venezuela faces.
This service will complement its satellite television, as well as fixed telephony and internet services.
