Peru. Almost 150 professionals, 3 mobile units and 27 cameras from Mediapro Peru, as well as motorcycles equipped with cameras and drones, made possible the remote production at the Adidas Lima Marathon, which took place on May 19.
This team was in charge of monitoring the race, in an uninterrupted transmission that lasted more than 5 hours and had a previous assembly of 17 hours. The coordination was carried out from a single point: Mediapro Peru's TV Compound in the Miraflores district of the capital.
The production company highlighted that this is the first time that a national, generalist and free-to-air television, in this case Grupo ATV, broadcasts a live sporting event using exclusively SRT (Secure Realiable Transport) contribution.
This protocol allowed the distribution of the signal via the public internet and via satellite internet as a backup.
