Colombia. The National Radio Television of Colombia, RTVC, presented its new technological tool, RTVC Play, thus demonstrating its commitment to the evolution towards a radio and television according to the demands of the audience and integrating its audiovisual content, with a menu with more than 400 contents including documentaries, series with various narratives and informative programs, with its radio channels nationwide.
Representative programs of Señal Colombia will be available such as 'Josefina en la Cocina' and 'Los Puros Criollos'; podcast archives of Radio Nacional and Radiónica; documentary series, unitary documentaries, informative programs such as 'Conversemos de Economía' of the Institutional Channel, and 'Yuruparí' of Señal Memoria.
Users can access the service through the OTT portal, www.rtvcplay.co or by downloading the RTVC application that is already available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Android, all people can download on their mobile devices (android and Iphone) the RTVC application and thus approach the contents and productions of the Public Media System, RTVC.
This is part of the strategy to expand its presence in digital media, the new application of digital content is presented in the on-demand mode free of charge for interested parties.
According to its news portal, this online project is born from the work of adaptation in infrastructure that was coordinated for the transmission and dissemination of the contents, and from a solid strategy of convergence and digital development supported in the software factory financed by FONTIC (Fund of Information and Communications Technologies). In this way, RTVC puts itself at the technological forefront of television in Colombia and makes available to the general public a wide range of audiovisual and sound productions.

He commented: "This launch reflects the responsibility and commitment to provide all our audiences, anywhere in the world, with the best of our content on a digital platform that facilitates access and allows us to reaffirm our work to promote the culture and education of Colombians." For his part , the Minister of Information and Communications Technologies, David Luna Sánchez, concluded: "With this application we guarantee the easy access of the national and international audience to a portfolio of high quality content, bringing them all closer to public television."
Users will have the possibility to listen to the station's live signal of the independent Sounds Radionics (as well as the online stations Radionic 2 and Radionic 3); Radio Nacional de Colombia (including its online stations Señal Clásica and Señal Cumbia), as well as the video streaming of Señal Colombia, Canal Institucional and Canal Uno.
