Colombia. The National Television Authority, ANTV, invites operators of the public service of non-profit television open (local) and closed (community), companies producing audiovisual content and ethnic groups to participate in the Call for Promotion and financing for the production of audiovisual content for television 2016.
The call that will receive proposals until August 12 at 3:00 p.m., and that is a fundamental part of the objectives of the ANTV, has $ 1,672 million that will be destined to promote and encourage the production of audiovisual content of public interest.
The call has the following categories:
- Production of unitary documentaries that reflect the culture of the area of influence of the operators of the public service of open and closed non-profit television, for an amount of $ 600 million and a maximum funding per documentary of $ 50 million.
- Production of a television series aimed at children, with a minimum of four episodes, for a maximum amount of $244 million.
- Production of a television fiction series that addresses issues of Colombian regional culture, of at least four chapters, for a maximum amount of $328 million.
- Production and production of unitary documentaries developed by ethnic groups constituted in accordance with the Law and that are recognized before the competent authority, which address issues related to the dissemination, strengthening, reconstruction, recognition or dissemination of the culture and values of these groups, for an amount of $ 500 million and a maximum funding per documentary of $ 50 million.
