Latin America. Continuing its expansion plan for the Hispanic territory, FOX International Channels Latin America (FIC) announces new distribution agreements for FOX Sports+ in Latin America and FOX sports in Brazil.
The agreement in Brazil was made with SKY, Net and Claro TV through which FOX Sports will be available to subscribers of the basic packages of the operators.
Likewise, in Latin America, FIC signed an agreement with Directv Latin America through which FOX Sports+ joins from the first of April to the programming offer where it reaches 14 million subscribers in the region.
Carlos Martinez, president of FIC in Latin America, stated that these sports channels "are of high quality, with international content and first-class events that will enrich the sports offer in the lineup of all platforms."
The channel already has more than 35 million subscribers in the region, in Brazil for example, it reached 7.3 million subscriptions just two months after its launch.
