United States. To fulfill this purpose, Triveni Digital incorporated into its Digital GuideBuilder metadata platform and its old version of the StreamScope MT MPEG, the new solutions from Sinclair Broadcast Group: StreamScope RM40 and the StreamScope EM 40.
Designed for transmitters, cable operators, service providers and IPTV networks, the EM-40 controls a fleet of StreamScope units that, using a configurable set of rules, isolates and analyzes faults, giving users extensive remote analysis capability of flow control.
For its part, the RM-40 generates alarms when a transport flow falls outside the configuration specified by the operator and, its integrated trend analysis, allows engineering personnel to study recurring errors.
Harvey Arnold, corporate director of engineering at Sinclair Broadcast Group, said: "StreamScope's systems have allowed us to monitor, measure, record and analyze digital television streams, providing in-depth information and making it easier for station engineers to see the details to determine the root causes of problems affecting service."
