Audio, video and IT in one place

In November 2007 in the city of Santiago de Chile, the Latin audio and video industry met in the first version of the "Big Open House", organized by the company Videocorp, distributor of equipment for broadcasting, professional video and representative of Sony Professional in the country for 25 years.

At the event, manufacturers, executives, customers and representatives were present at this new event where they observed and learned about new equipment and technologies such as: projectors, curtains, SONY videoconferencing plasmas, interactive whiteboards for education and presentations, Closed circuit television, professional video cameras and accessories, rental of audiovisual equipment and solutions for events, audio, video and networking cables and connectors.

The new product lines that were presented at "Big Open House" were launched on the market during NAB 2007 and Infocomm 2007.

The products presented were divided into different categories and companies such as control, interfaces and Miranda multiscreen; Gepco audio, video and compute cables and connectors; closed circuit television for surveillance and supervision of Pelco and Infinova; VSN automation and press archiving systems; Kramer audio, video, and compute interfaces; Sony Bravia projectors and LCDs; and Dynamax point display systems, among others.

Likewise, those attending the "Big Open House" were able to see for the first time in Chile, the only camera 100% focused on digital television and the creation of cinematographic films, the Sony F23 of the Cine Alta family. This native resolution camera of 1080 lines by 1920 pixels with scanning and progressive recording at 24P, has HD-SDI output alternative in 4:2:2 or dual HD-SDI link in 4:4:4 without compression.
