United States. Digital video services pioneer Chyron announced the appointment of Gary Schutte as Director of Channel Sales for North America. Schutte, with 25 years of industry experience, has served as vice president of sales for Harris Corporation, overseeing regional sales staff and more than 25 distribution channels; in addition, as an architect of IT Sales engineering, he achieved a successful national sales program designed for the digital conversion of broadcasters.According to Bruce Levine, Vice President of Sales for Chyron north america, "Gary's industry experience will be a valuable asset in achieving more disciplined and structured partnership programs as he will be tasked with not only building new relationships, but successfully driving existing ones."
Schutte will be responsible for creating for Chyron a sales channel with a particular focus on the association of integration systems and in this way continue the leadership of the company with services for all digital video media and with sophisticated graphics offerings and integration solutions for the newsroom.
