Marca TV has relied on VSNMulticom as the main tool to control and automate the continuity of the new sports channel. The solution developed by VSN has been installed by Unitecnic in a fully redundant configuration. The system is capable of controlling two K2 video servers from Grass Valley and graphics from Vizrt, with which VSN has a deep level of integration through the control of secondary and auxiliary events.
On this occasion, the Spanish company has configured various applications of its solution to manage the unassisted intakes of the channel, so that it can record the sporting events that it broadcasts live and automatically eliminate the breaks, for its subsequent consolidation and archiving in a single file. This allows a broadcast of the events in deferred without cuts.
The system is also responsible for the management of video streams over IP networks, automatically transferring the files between the central repository and the continuity servers.
On the other hand, thanks to the control of the DVE effect generator by VSNMulticom, the channel can simultaneously broadcast the last minutes of the sporting events that are played at the same time.
