Spain: AFIAL, an association of manufacturers and importers of professional sound and spectacular lighting in Spain, presented its I Technological Forum on February 13 and 14 at the Municipal Palace of Madrid. During the event, current audio and lighting topics were discussed, in a series of conferences that dealt with new products, trends, market evolution and training in business management and regulations, each of them specific to each sector.
The event was attended by specialists such as Patrick Woodroffe, Ana García Baños, Fausto Orsatti, James Woods and other industry personalities. AFIAL presented this first edition after deciding to hold the annual Annual Members' Convention; the next edition of the convention will be in 2009 at the beginning of the year.
