This means that there are developed countries in the technological aspect that have access to the digital world under excellent conditions, and these advantages result in greater speed of access to more and better information, which allows them to achieve better productivity rates. On the contrary, in countries that are in the process of technological development there are serious difficulties that make the size of this gap much larger.
It is necessary to assume the responsibility of bringing access to the internet with state-of-the-art technological resources to the latter countries. Low-speed dial-up or telephone modem access technology should disappear in no time. It is the natural trend because the contents that are now on the network are increasingly rich in information, have added values such as audio, video and interactivity functions. A whole series of features that increase the size of digital files. In order to access this information, it is necessary that there are new pipelines that allow the passage of all content designed for a wider network, that is, for a bandwidth with greater capacity.
