Pandax 4K designed the workflow around its trusted equipment to achieve the results it was looking for.

Pandax 4K relied on a workflow entirely made up of Blackmagic Design products to record electronic dance music (EDM) performances during the Lollapalooza Argentina 2025 festival.
Pandax 4K turned to the Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 and Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro models to film artists' performances with clarity and precision, even in low light, bringing this thrilling experience into viewers' homes for three consecutive days.
Following the success of the event last year, the Buenos Aires-based production company returned to the Lollapalooza festival to capture the performances of the artists on the Perry stage, including Zedd, Charlotte De Witte, Blondish, Barry Can't Swim, Kasablanca, among others.
Pandax 4K partnered with NAKKIO, the company in charge of the general technical production of the festival and responsible for the live webcasting since its first editions. On this occasion, it was also responsible for transmitting the signals through fiber optic cables to four channels, while certain performances were broadcast by Flow, a cable television channel and Internet provider in Argentina.
NAKKIO is recognized as one of the nation's leading live streaming companies, and is in charge of countless well-known local events and festivals.
Pandax 4K has been committed to Blackmagic Design products for years, so when embarking on a production of this magnitude, it designed the work dynamic around its trusted equipment to achieve the results it was looking for.
"Among our equipment, we had an URSA Broadcast G2 mounted on a robotic arm to shoot overhead shots, two units that we held in our hands and that allowed us to move freely around the place, and finally, a camera with a telephoto lens to capture shots of the front of the stage. As complementary units, we used a Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro to shoot wide shots," said Damián Petruccelli, technical supervisor of Pandax 4K. "These cameras allowed us to deliver great visual quality material without noise or graininess, which is particularly important for nighttime presentations."
When streaming over the Internet, Pandax 4K opted for an ATEM 2 M/E Constellation 4K switcher, combined with an ATEM 2 M/E Advanced Panel 20 device, for greater control. In order to transmit the signals to the giant screens (IMAG), an ATEM Micro Panel unit connected via Bluetooth was used to control the switcher.
"Combining the ATEM with the cameras during the program gave us the possibility to offer a dynamic transmission, both through the Internet and through these screens to the audience," added Petruccelli. "We also used a Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G SFP converter in optical mode and connected it to a Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G so we could communicate with DJs, which was super beneficial. With shows running so fast and little time between sets, this communication was essential to ensure we captured ideal angles for the DJ before performances. In addition, we were able to have a Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 on stage, close to the DJs, because it's very compact and perfect for shooting close-ups."
The Pandax 4K technical team also used a HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro recorder, with which the performances were recorded and then sent to NAKKIO for use as promotional material, among other things.
Pandax 4K not only participates in Lollapalooza, but also in other musical events. Recently, the team of this production company collaborated with artists such as Don Osvaldo and Trueno in important concerts in Argentina, for which they relied on Blackmagic Design products when carrying out the production and optimizing the work dynamics, incorporating additional equipment such as Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro cameras.
