Brazil. At SET Expo JVC presented its new camera with 3 sensors of 2/3, HDR and very advanced functions for the IP part. This camera was released in April during the NAB Show, but was not fully operational like the version presented in Brazil.
Pedro Mees, director for Latin America of JVC, told TVyVideo+Radio that the camera provides many connectivity options, because it has the encoders that allow you to exit directly with IP and digital signal from the camera, streaming transmission, remote camera control and audio and video return.
The JVC executive stressed that "The GY-HC900 is a very complete solution with a connectivity device included. The camera begins to be delivered in September and we already have orders in several Latin American countries, including Mexico and Brazil."
On the Brazilian market, Pedro Mees said that "Brazil is going through an electoral process with presidential elections in October, which ends up affecting the market. But we are optimistic that a few years of growth are coming for the market."
