NAB. Prior to the start of NAB Show 2024, the company Blackmagic Design made a virtual presentation of all the novelties that will be available at the fair. Undoubtedly, one of the most outstanding products is the URSA Cine 12K digital film camera with a new large format sensor; its first box-type digital cinema camera, the Blackmagic PYXIS 6K.
In addition to DaVinci Resolve 19 with new AI tools and over 100 feature updates, new DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel, and new live playback capabilities for production and live streaming, including DaVinci Resolve Replay Editor hardware. And a new SMPTE-2110 IP video product range, including converters, video monitors, audio monitors, and camera upgrades.
Here are some of the releases:
URSA Cine 12K: A new digital cinema camera that introduces new advanced technologies with full integration into the post-production workflow. This new model includes a new 36 x 24mm large-format RGBW sensor with larger photo sites for 16 stops of dynamic range, interchangeable PL, LPL, and EF lens mounts, and industry-standard Lemo and Fischer connections. Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K comes with 8TB of built-in high-performance storage and also includes high-speed networking for media upload and syncing with Blackmagic Cloud.

Blackmagic PYXIS 6K: A next-generation digital cinema camera featuring a versatile box-or-cube design with a massive 36 x 24mm 6K sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range and dual CFexpress media recorders, all in a customizable format.
DaVinci Resolve 19: A major new update adding new AI tools, over 100 feature updates like IntelliTrack AI, Ultra NR noise reduction, ColorSlice six-vector grading, movie appearance creation effects, multi-source editing, new multipoly rotoscoping tools, new Fairlight AI audio-to-video panning, ducker track effects and ambisonic surround sound, plus new features in Blackmagic Cloud for large customers.
Blackmagic Replay: A new way to create live-action replays for broadcasters. Blackmagic Replay is totally unique in that it uses multiple HyperDecks to record to shared storage, while DaVinci Resolve is connected to the same shared storage as a powerful playback engine. However, the real power comes from DaVinci Resolve taking care of the playback. That's because it's not just a playback, but an extremely powerful editor with multi-user collaboration features. In addition to color correction, visual effects and audio post-production. Replays can now be converted into promotions, title sequences, and instant social media updates.
DaVinci Resolve Replay Editor: A hardware control panel that combines features for multi-camera playback and editing. Its affordable design has the same high-quality keys that gaming keyboards use, making it reliable and enjoyable to use. With functions for both playback and editing, it means that the same operator can work on replays while loading them into the timeline with keyboard editing functions. This makes it incredibly quick to use. In addition, the buttons have been spaced out so that users can locate them by touch. Even the adjustment keys work with the large search dial for speed and accuracy. The panel can be connected via USB or Bluetooth and the large internal battery lasts for hours.
Fusion Studio 19: Adds support for Resolve FX Surface Tracker, support for Resolve FX Object Removal, multi Poly tool for easier rotoscoping of complex objects, IntelliTrack AI point tracker option in Tracker, and more.
DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel: A new, more affordable color panel for DaVinci Resolve software. Designed in collaboration with the world's leading colorists, the DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel features high-quality trackballs and precision-machined control knobs to fine-tune primary gradation parameters, as well as navigation and transport keys for shortcut commands. The new, more portable model features a mounting slot for an Apple iPad Pro, an internal battery, and connects via Bluetooth or USB-C.
Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P: The first Ethernet switch designed specifically for the film and television industry. This high-performance, low-latency Ethernet solution also features 16 fast 10G Ethernet ports, 2 extremely high-speed 100G Ethernet ports, and rear Ethernet connections for better cable management. This simple plug-and-play solution that works within the IP 2110 video workflow has everything you need for film and television work.
Blackmagic Cloud Store Max: New 1RU models of Cloud Store network storage. Cloud Store Max features extremely high-performance flash storage, with 24 and 48 TB models, 12-card RAID 0 flash core, 4 x 10G Ethernet, 100G Ethernet, USB-C, and Blackmagic Cloud sync for global file distribution.
Blackmagic Media Player: A new capture and playback solution for Thunderbolt computers with dual 12G-SDI outputs for fill and key playback, 12G-SDI capture and 10G Ethernet that allows customers to use DaVinci Resolve 19 as media. Playback and playback solution for the production and live streaming markets.
Blackmagic 2110 IP Converters: A new range of converters with mini and rack-mount models that support Ultra HD over 10G Ethernet. Designed to integrate SDI equipment into IP 2110 broadcast systems for broadcast, live production, and AV customers, the new Blackmagic 2110 IP converters comply with the SMPTE ST-2110 standard for IP video.
SmartView 4K G3: The first Ultra HD broadcast monitor with 12G-SDI and SMPTE-2110 IP video inputs. This new model allows customers to connect directly to IP-based broadcast systems as well as a range of professional 12G-SDI video equipment up to 2160p60, making it perfect for live streaming and production. It also includes 3D LUTs and monitoring controls, such as focus peaks, framing guides, safe area, and more.
Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G G3 – A powerful new model of your extremely popular rack-mount audio monitoring solution. The new Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G G3 features an SMPTE-2110 10G Ethernet IP video input so customers can connect to IP transmission systems without an external converter. In addition, it also includes a large audio meter with accurate ballistics, 12G-SDI input, traditional balanced analog XLR audio inputs, HiFi, AES/EBU, and HDMI video output.
ATEM 1 M/E Constellation 4K and ATEM 2 M/E Constellation 4K: two new Ultra HD models in the ATEM Constellation family with up to 20 inputs converted to 12G-SDI standards. The two new 4K models have the same powerful features as the ATEM 1 M/E and 2 M/E Constellation HD models, including auxiliary outputs, DVE, ATEM Advanced Color Keying, Multiview, and SuperSource.
ATEM Micro Panel: A new extremely portable and affordable control surface for use with ATEM Software Control that works with all ATEM switch models.
Blackmagic Videohub 120x120 12G: The newest model in the Videohub 12G family of routers. The massive Blackmagic Videohub 120x120 12G features a front panel with shortcut buttons, an LCD screen that can display tags or live video, a machined metal rotary knob for exploring video sources, reference connections, and redundant power. It also features zero latency, full SDI reclocking, and external control over Ethernet.
Lower prices for Blackmagic Video Assist 3G and 12G models: Customers can save $200 on all models. These lower prices make it easier than ever for customers to add professional monitoring and Blackmagic RAW recording to SDI or HDMI cameras.
ATEM Switchers 9.4: A new software update for ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K that:
· Add option for borderless multi-view
· Allows for custom Multiview border colors
· Allows you to enable/disable Multiview tags individually
HyperDeck Setup 8: A new software update for HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro, HyperDeck Studio HD Pro, HyperDeck Studio HD Plus, HyperDeck Studio HD Mini that:
· Add network recording and playback
· Add the network security option
· Adds HTTP/S file browsing and transfer
· Add Network Time Protocol
· Adds ever-increasing file support for live editing
· And for HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro that adds support for internal caching
