Latin America. Broadpeak has appointed David Peredo as sales director for Mexico and Central America. With years of experience in broadcast and cable television technologies, Peredo will strengthen Broadpeak's presence and accelerate revenue growth in Latin America.
This new hire is the latest demonstration of Broadpeak's overall growth and expansion worldwide, with recent project deployments and office openings in India, Japan, Peru, Denver (in the United States) and Colombia.
"The Latin American pay-TV market is growing substantially. Adding a local sales presence in the region will ensure that our customers' needs are met and implementations run smoothly," said Jacques Le Mancq, CEO of Broadpeak.
Peredo has spent more than seven years working in marketing, affiliate sales, support and television technology in the telecommunications sector. Prior to joining Broadpeak, he was the director of LATAM TV affiliates at WOBI. His expertise includes IPTV, OTT, VOD, satellite, DTH, encryption, digital TV migrations and storage solutions. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and international law.
