Argentina. With the return of CONMEBOL competitions in Latin America, Mediapro Argentina has set out to produce the South American Football Olympic Qualifiers. Over the next few weeks, this tournament will define the two U23 teams that will participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
From its center, the international signal will be produced, integrating narration and graphics in three languages: Spanish, Portuguese and English, and distributing it to rights holders in the region. This will be the first of the tournaments that the group produces annually for CONMEBOL.
In 2023, the Argentinian headquarters of GRUP MEDIAPRO produced more than 350 matches and 13 competitions from this technical facility: CONMEBOL Libertadores, Sudamericana, CONMEBOL Libertadores beach soccer, CONMEBOL Libertadores women, CONMEBOL Copa América women's futsal, CONMEBOL U20 futsal, CONMEBOL Intercontinental U20, CONMEBOL U20 beach soccer, CONMEBOL Libertadores U20, CONMEBOL South American U17, CONMEBOL Libertadores for futsal and CONMEBOL Copa América for beach soccer.
To this end, it has a trained team and a production centre equipped with 8 production controls, a reception and distribution structure via satellite, fibre and IP systems, as well as voice-over and graphics rooms. Its hub also integrates and manages CONMEBOL's audiovisual archiving system.
