Argentina. From Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 November arrives in Buenos Aires the 31st annual edition of CAPER Show, as always at the Costa Salguero Exhibition Center. Organized by the Argentine Chamber of Manufacturers and Integrators of Audiovisual Equipment, the event continues to position itself as a benchmark in the Industry not only for Argentina but for the entire southern region of Latin America.
CAPER Show consists of an Exhibition of equipment and services and an Academic Program that includes Conferences, Workshops, Master Classes, Round Tables and Training, and summons the entire technological value chain of the Professional Audiovisual Industry: from equipment and solutions linked to the generation of content through post-production, storage and management, ending distribution and transmission technologies through any platform. As usual, the opening hours of the exhibition to the public will be from 12 to 20 hours, although some academic activities will take place in the morning.
The organization, which has been working for a few months on the content of the Academic Technical Program, has already confirmed the participation of Associations and Societies of industry professionals, such as the Argentine Association of Colorists (AAC), Argentine Association of Audio Technicians and Engineers (AATIA), Authors of Argentine Cinematographic Photography (ADF), AES Audio Engineering Society Argentina Section, Asociación Argentina de Sonidistas Audiovisuales (ASA), Cámara Argentina de Internet (CABASE), Cámara Argentina de Cableoperadores e Internet Pymes (CACPY), Cámara Argentina de Radios Online (CADERO), Cámara Argentina de Cooperativas de Telecomunicaciones (CATEL), Directores Argentinos Cinematográficos (DAC), Directores de Obras Audiovisuales para Televisión (DOAT), Asociación Argentina de Editores Audiovisuales (EDA) y Sociedad Argentina de Editores Audiovisuales (SAE). As always, the Academic Program will also include product presentations or Workshops, provided by the exhibiting companies, some of them during the mornings from 9 am, that is, prior to the opening of the Exhibition to the public.
But this year, in addition, hand in hand with AES and within the framework of the 75th Anniversary of AES International, CAPER Show will host the Latam Immersive Tour, an Immersive Audio experience that will be organized jointly by the aforementioned institution and the professional audio company Genelec, which this year also celebrates its 45th anniversary. The Latam Inmersive Tour will take place in Auditorium 1 of CAPER SHOW 2023 during the three days of the event and will consist of different demos and talks in this space, specially equipped to experience Immersive Audio.
As always, admission to the event and the activities of the Academic Technical Program -with the exception of the training on Fiber Optics on Thursday morning- are free of charge, only online accreditation is required, which is already available on the entity's website, https://www.caper.org.ar
