Chile. As part of Tecomtel, Blackmagic Design and its master distributor in Chile, MMT, will be offering a variety of events the week of May 12-17. This is the event called Blackmagic Week Chile, which continues its circuit in Latin America, where it will present the new URSA Cine 12K camera that has just been launched at NAB 2024 in Chile as a first for Latin America.
Hand in hand with MMT, Blackmagic will be visiting the main users and production companies in Chile, including Mega, Chilefilms and Mediapro in a process of technical training and demonstrations of the different product categories that the brand has.
In the Tecomtel environment, participants will be able to experience the complete Blackmagic Design workflow, featuring a Blackmagic Design Workflow, featuring powerful and affordable URSA digital cameras, ATEM LIVE Production systems, and Davinci Resolve software.
The Tecomtel event will bring together customers from different sectors of the audiovisual industry in Chile on May 12 and 14 in the city of Santiago, Blackmagic will have two stands at the Tecomtel fair. Serving all areas of the AV market, from Cinema to Streaming, Blackmagic Design will be demonstrating the entire lineup of digital cameras, from the new URSA CINE 12K to the URSA Broadcast G2 and Studio 4K Pro and Plus cameras.
Lectures will also be offered during the show, including the talks "Using New Platforms for Digital Content Creation" at DaVinci Resolve. The talks "Workflow and television production" will also be offered.
Presenters will be Tor Johansen, Camera Product Specialist at Blackmagic Design, Cecila Belliz, Master Trainer at DaVinci Resolve, and Robert Diaz, Brand Ambassador for Blackmagic Design.
Blackmagic Design will also be visiting the University of Santo Tomás at its headquarters in Concepción for a Master Class of the new URSA Cine 12K with its students.
"All of this effort seeks to continue to position Blackmagic Design as the most cost-effective option for end users in the region. The purpose is to accompany users in Chile in the design and specification of all the workflows required by each one within their audiovisual production chain," the company said.
