The FUJINON HZK25-1000mm is a dual-format box-type broadcast zoom lens, compatible with two types of large image sensors. It can be mounted on cameras equipped with the Super 35mm sensor or with the even larger 35mm full-frame equivalent sensor. The lens achieves optical performance that surpasses 4K quality.
It can also be used for cinema cameras, increasingly used in the broadcast industry, offering cinematic visual expressions such as shallow depth of field to achieve excellent bokeh in live coverage of sporting events and music concerts, amid the growing need for immersive cinematic expressions that involve the use of high dynamic range.
The new lens has an ultra-high zoom ratio of 40x and covers a 41.3mm diagonal sensor throughout the zoom range, making it larger than full-frame sensors. In addition, the HK25-1000 implements a dual-form factor system that supports two single sensor sizes thanks to the built-in 1.5x expander.
