Colombia. Technology touches our lives every day and innovates in university careers, emerging new emphases or professions. Such is the case of multimedia that undoubtedly permeates the tastes of young people motivated by the growing trend, which according to figures from the Global Web Index, show that the average Colombian invests in the Internet more than 10 a day.
Currently the average daily consumption of streaming video is 5 hours and 18 minutes per person, a fact that has modified the curriculum of certain careers such as social communication, film production, radio and television, advertising, among others. This reality is no stranger to the organizers of TecnoTelevisión & Radio, which presents again the TecnoTelevisión University Contest, which will be held from October 20 to 21, within the framework of the TecnoTelevisión & Radio Colombia fair.
This activity seeks to recognize, highlight and motivate the work of students of careers related to the audiovisual industry, which according to data from the Ministry of National Education (MEN), in the country undergraduate degrees related to this subject concentrate at least 20% of the total offer currently offered.
In this way, the eighth version of TecnoTelevisión & Radio, invites university filmmakers to show and give testimony with their productions of stories on a topic that they are passionate about. The application deadline is Friday, September 2, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
The selection of the winner will be made through a virtual voting process among the five best proposals, between October 5 and 20, 2022. Parallel to the TecnoTelevisión & Radio event, the TecnoMultimedia fairs will also arrive, for the audio, video and professional integration industry, and Expo DataNet, for the networks and structured cabling segment, a commitment by TV&Video magazine and its publishing house Latin Press Inc for the reactivation of face-to-face events.
It is worth noting that all the fairs will have the renowned program of technical-commercial conferences, in which both exhibitors of the event and industry experts will share their knowledge in the different areas covered by the television and radio broadcast industry.
