Latin America. It is increasingly common to find IP workflows in the Broadcast environment. Therefore, the Igson LiveStudio video mixer now allows you to incorporate Skype as a source of the mixer, to be able to make live links through video calls.
All sources - cameras, Skype call, videos - can be sent directly to the program or integrated into Picture In Picture scenes for live productions such as newscasts and other events for broadcast on television or the Internet.
Igson LiveStudio works under an intuitive interface, allowing the user to control up to 6 sources: cameras by SDI/HDMI or even USB, NDI signals, video files, images, etc. If the sources are defined as playout channels, then they can play a single file or an entire playlist.
It allows you to add graphics and characters independently for each font, in addition to being able to insert graphics in the PGM and Previous. It has multiple transition options between sources built in, and also supports DVE transitions.
The program signal can be recorded in high quality to your local or remote disc and, in parallel, sent to an output card (SDI/HDMI) and by RTMP.
Skype video calls
Igson LiveStudio is fully integrated with applications such as Skype or others compatible with NDI to make links by video call, which is a very useful and economical tool for newscasts and other live programs with the participation of several people on the television set.
The NDI protocol is integrated into the video mixer, which releases an additional PGM output to the baseband or RTMP streaming outputs.
This update allows us to work with the module to create scenes and through Picture In Picture we can place different fonts by NDI or by SDI anywhere on the screen.
