Argentina. This Friday, May 10, the VHL company will have a Workshop in which attendees will be able to expand their knowledge about DaVinCi Resolve and the functionalities of BlackMagic Design cameras.
From 10:00 to 12:00 the shooting session with cameras will be held, using the URSA Mini Pro 4.6k cameras - updated with BRaw and DaVinci 16; Pocket 4K - updated with BRaw and DaVinci 16; and URSA Broadcast with its workflow for use in Broadcast applications.
This workshop will be presented by Tor Rolf Johansen, associate member of the American Cinematography Society (ASC) and member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, MGLA (Motion Graphics of Los Angeles), NATOA, SMPTE and graduate of the Ithaca College Film School.
He has won six Emmy Awards for directing and producing, and one as a cinematographer in the Los Angeles market. Prior to joining Blackmagic Design as a Los Angeles camera specialist, Tor designed and built a 24/7 government television station from the ground up.
The second session will be on post production and color correction with DaVinCi Resolve, with Theory and Practice on DaVinCi Resolve version 15. In charge of this workshop will be Diego Yhamá, Social Communicator Universidad Javeriana. Authorized Master Trainer of Davinci Resolve in Latin America. Official Demonstrator of DaVinCi Resolve NAB 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Colorist, educator and master coach of BlackMagic Design for Latin America has conducted training in countries such as: Brazil, Ecuador, Chile, United States, Dominican Republic and in Colombia has trained professionals from companies such as Caracol Television, RCN television, Fox Telecolombia, Cinecolor Digital, Digital TVgroup, Telepacifico, LaPost, Centro atico among others, Currently professor at the Javeriana University, Congofilms School and SAE Institute.
Partner of Estudio Roco and colorist, he has colored products for NatGeo, Fox Channel, Discovery Channel, Discovery Home and Healt as well as video clips for Carlos Vives, short films and documentaries.
