Latin America. The implementation of closed caption in various Latin American countries is an urgent need, established by local regulatory bodies. To this end, Enco offers effective and immediate solutions, said Gilbert Felix, the company's Director of Sales for Latin America.
"We show live translation solutions, place closed caption in English, send to the cloud and bring in live Spanish with a delay of two seconds. We can do closed captioning in English and Spanish at the same time. We are using the cloud, for eventually when we launch that product -because it is still a new product that we are launching-, the processing will be all local in the team, then you will have English-Spanish and vice versa, but we work in 47 different languages, so it does not matter, we can go from German to French and from this to Russian, "he said during his participation in NAB Show 2019.
He added: "We made several advances with the software with the caption, we have the speaker operation; by talking two people we can identify each one. When they change speakers, now we can identify, recognize that there is a change of voice. For example, we both have two different voices, but if they are similar there is a sesitivity filter, where we can go down and change that to show that change of speaker, all automated with Enco".
On the company's penetration in Latin America, he said: "We have facilities in Argentina, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Telearte, channel 9 bought a team, CityTV is going to buy a team in Colombia, Caracol was here with us to talk about that issue."
