Brazil. The new news production studio built by TV Integração, one of the subsidiaries of the Brazilian network TV Globo, has been equipped with Grass Valley technology. Thanks to this multi-phase investment, the news station now has a flexible, scalable and future-proof production capacity, offering an unparalleled narrative to its viewers.
As news broadcasters face the growing demand for more breaking news delivered simultaneously across multiple devices, the need for flexible infrastructures and efficient workflows becomes critical to success.
To ensure that it will be able to meet the requirements of the main news environments of today and tomorrow, TV Integração chose the Densité 3 Frame, the Karrera K-Frame S-series 2 M/E Video Production Center and a Kaleido-MX-48X2 multiviewer, together with the IQ Modular processing and distribution solution to handle the interconnection, processing and conversion. The new studio has also implemented two Focus 75 Live 720p/1080i Switchable HD system cameras from Grass Valley.

The Karrera K-Frame S-series switcher gives TV Integração's production team unmatched creative freedom and is future-proof with multi-format support for SDI or IP, HD or 4K UHD, and SDR or HDR. In the different lighting conditions of the new studio, the Focus 75 Live cameras offer high sensitivity for better performance, even with fast camera movements and short flashes of light.
With the award-winning Densité solution, the equipment can simultaneously handle 3G, HD, SD and analog video, and analog and AES audio processing, occupying only 3 RU. In addition, in combination with the IQ Modular solution, it offers powerful processing capabilities that can be easily expanded or reduced as needed.
