Colombia. During the 2018 version of Colombia 4.0, the opportunities and perspectives generated by the Orange Economy will be analyzed and discussed, with the purpose of promoting artists, producers, entrepreneurs, designers, programmers, filmmakers and other people who with their creativity generate high-impact businesses and economic development in the different regions of the country in terms of video games, animation, media, music, digital security, entrepreneurship, advertising and fintech.
More than 140 national and international speakers will be in charge of updating the attendees in the different tracks, in which there will also be spaces for exchange, learning and training to increase productivity and generate new business.
In these four days, attendees will have the opportunity to see great talents of the world in each of their areas, including: Adrián Molina, co-director and screenwriter of Coco, Pixar film winner of the Oscar for Best Animated Film 2018; Catherine Hicks, Pixar character animator; Michelle Blok, Game of Thrones preview artist, and Martin La Land Romero, lead visual effects artist in Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire.
Also participating will be Tyler Pinckard, Blockchain Architect at Manifold Technology-Coffee Shift, INC; Johnny Casamassina, Senior Vice President of Creative Development at Jam City; Caritta Seppä, co-founder of Tespack; José Velásquez, founder of Veltrac Music; Inanc Balci, co-founder and partner of Crestone Venture Capital Partners, among others.
Within the framework of this meeting, journalists from Bogotá and different regions of the country will be able to participate in a workshop with Radio Ambulante, a podcast in Spanish that tells Latin American chronicles. On the other hand, in the Orange Exhibition, animation and video game companies will present their best projects and developments to all attendees, who will have the opportunity to deepen the Colombian offer of digital creative content, in addition to experimenting with some of their games.
Additionally, in partnership with ProColombia and under the internationalization campaign Colombia Bring IT On, there will be a business hall in which entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the industry can contact potential buyers and investors to generate business opportunities that project their companies internationally.
Finally, as part of the musical programming of Colombia 4.0, the afternoons of October 24, 25 and 26 will be accompanied by the innovative sounds of Colombian bands and artists. MinTIC will support four of these groups to participate in the South by Southwest 2019, art and music festival in Austin, Texas. In addition, just by presenting the Colombia 4.0 cockade, you can enter for free the concerts of Hermoso Ruido, an independent music festival, an ally of this event in the development of the music track.
