Brazil. During the last version of SET Expo, Newtek and several of its allies made a novel test, connecting different stands with the NDI system, all under a 1 gigabit network, trafficking more than 50 full HD signals and some 4K.
Pablo Pérez, Regional Sales Manager South America of Newtek, commented that Panasonic, CIS, Floripa, DigiLab, Broadmedia participated in the test, all with different solutions and everyone could see all the sources. Everyone could take what served them from the network and use it as they required.
"The NDI protocol is revolutionizing the world of video traffic, it has already become the most used IP standard, since it takes advantage of existing networks, does not require large investments, adapts to existing workflows and gives very interesting flexibility and interoperability," he added.
Newtek also announced during the fair in Brazil that it chose a new partner to provide technical support, seeking to respond quickly and give better attention to the market. Pablo Pérez assured that with Zeus Broadcast they will be able to offer a premium support that until now they were not giving. And to serve the market, focused on large customers, Newtek appointed CIS as a partner in Brazil.
