Colombia. At the end of November, Canal Capital and the District Secretariat for Social Integration, with the support of the National Television Authority, ANTV, launched #TBT Sin Límites, a series that through suspense and intrigue seeks to bring young people closer to problems of current reality such as sexual identity, drug and alcohol consumption, the use of new technologies or relationships of couples.
During 2017, one of the projects of the ANTV, at the head of the content area, was the realization of training cycles for regional public channels, producers and producers of audiovisual content. These meetings were called La Tele de Todos and focused on training on transmedia content generation, responsible prosumption, copyright and related rights, creation of quality content, creation of edutainment content, among other topics.
It is fortunate the coincidence that to close the year the ANTV, has come to light this first transmedia series project of the District that, with more than 480,000 reproductions on its website and more than 16,000 users in less than a month, has proven to have a great strength in its content almost to resemble it with the SKAM case, the youth webdrama of Norwegian public television that expanded all over the world.
#TBT Sin Límites is made up of 48 chapters of 4 minutes in which the search for Juana Iriarte, a student who disappears after a Facebook Live broadcast, is narrated. As it is a transmedia content, it has a particularity: the creators of the project developed a whole universe around the life and history of the characters of the series.
Through a website, social networks, a game, a forum and a book of chronicles of the real stories provided by the Secretariat of Social Integration for the creation of the script, each platform is responsible for providing its grain of sand to the series and nurturing it.
For example, you can interact and get to know the characters more through their social networks. The user can choose the linearity, direction and outcome that he wants to give to the story on the website. And on television, you will see a more complete version that tries to encompass all eyes.
Public television and ANTV continue to bet on attracting young audiences and what better than with transmedia content that encourages interaction with them and thus educate them.
