Argentina. Enacom presented the site www.enacom.gob.ar/antenasamigables with the purpose of raising awareness among citizens about the operation of mobile telephony and the importance of antennas to ensure better communications.
This new tool is made available to the population with the aim of providing information on how mobile telephony works, how important antennas are to access data and internet services, how antennas are controlled and what is the regulatory framework that governs the activity in our country.
The new website also has infographics and statistics that illustrate the need for more antennas and compare them with the cases of developed countries. In addition, it has an online form that allows citizens to submit a request for Enacom to perform measurements of Non-Ionizing Radiation (RNI) and quality of service in the neighborhood where users live.
This initiative complements the work that the authorities of the agency have been doing with municipalities throughout the country in order to solve the problems of coverage in mobile communications, facilitating the expansion of the network of the companies involved thus allowing them to provide a better quality service.
