Colombia. Panasonic Latin America held in recent days in Bogotá a day of presentation of its most recent products aimed at the broadcast and audiovisual market, in which its distributors and end users participated.
René Araúz, marketing director for the company in the region, and who was in charge of making the presentation, explained to TVyVideo+Radio that it was the opportunity to make a formal presentation of all Panasonic's professional audiovisual solutions.
"We had a very good response, end users from production houses, education, government and corporations arrived. Panasonic Latin America wanted to do this event for the first time in Bogotá because it is the main market in the country. According to the results, we are analyzing replicating the event to other cities in the region," he said.
In total, products from four segments were presented in Bogotá:
In professional video, 4K production both high, medium and low ranges. These include the Varicam line and remote cameras.
In the case of projectors, they presented laser technology, showing its different uses.
In Monitors, interactive equipment for education.
And in security systems, infrared LED technology to observe subjects in low light and products that are not affected by water.
The Colombian market is of utmost importance for Panasonic, especially with audiovisual solutions. Therefore, an important part of the presentation was to show videos with end users in the country telling how they are using the solutions.
"We present as a success story the solutions installed in the Nueva Granada school in Bogotá, the Colombian pavilion at Expo Milan, which used our projectors, and the last Olympic Games in Rio. We wanted to convey the technology and also the convenience and convenience of our products with real experiences," he added.
The event was attended by Panasonic's regional executives, as well as some special guests from Japan.
