Colombia. Within the framework of the opening of the Master's Degree in Digital Television, the Pontifical Bolivarian University in Medellín will hold a forum in which they seek to know, from different points of view, how digital implementation is developing and the impacts it brings to television.
Likewise, to understand the changes that it brings to audiovisual organizations in terms of the training and qualification of human resources and for the academy, the approach to television processes within the Information and Knowledge Society (SIC).
The event will know the changes that digital TV can bring in the present and future of television and, which will affect not only the ways of seeing and perceiving television, but also the general structure of the medium. Likewise, the impact on audiovisual organizations for the training and qualification of human resources and, in academia, the approach to research processes, from a totally digital television environment, always having as a fundamental element the Information and Knowledge Society (SIC)
The event, which has free admission, will be held in the John Paul II auditorium next Tuesday, April 28 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 m. In the first part, a conversation will be held in which representatives of the channels talk about the importance of human resource training to address the implementation of DTT in 2019.

In the second part of the day, scheduled for 10 in the morning, engineer Sadi Contreras Fuset, advisor in digital television, will talk about the migration process to digital terrestrial television in Colombia. And Ph.D. Said Hung, professor-researcher in digital TV, will talk about the analog blackout of television: development, impacts and opportunities of digital television.
