Front Porch Digital launched DIVanalyse at IBC 2007. This new product adds another invaluable content warning feature to the already enriched series available within the DIVarchive, the leading storage management application content (CSM) for the media and entertainment industry.
While broadcasters continue to transition to infrastructures based on files, there are only a few pending to monitor the content quality throughout the digital workflow. There is an obvious need for an analysis tool complete and automated, which can examine the quality of the content in an effective, repeated and fast way.
DIVanalyse is the answer of Front Porch Digital to that need. Now, the step of the analysis in the content lifecycle can be defined dynamically by DIVarchive, leveraging functionality verified of the company's Storage Plan Manager. Control systems such as MAM, newsroom or automation, can define what content should be analyzed as part of the CSM process.
Elaborated on the established DISTRIBUTED ARCHITECTURE of DIVarchive, any number of DIVanalyse engines can be added to the infrastructure existing or expanded DIVarchive to provide a direct and automated content analysis functionality. Each DIVanalyse engine can analyze both SD and HD content many times faster than in real time, taking advantage of a patented, hardware-based acceleration board to assist the process.
Front Porch Digital announced that has surpassed DIVarchive's 200 installations in more than 45 Countries. Long established as one of the leaders among CSM suppliers in Europe and Asia, Front Porch Digital is now growing rapidly in America. During in recent months it got about 10 large installations of broadcast in Latin America.
