Manfrotto won a case of counterfeiting against a Chinese company, accused of copying two tripods of the company.
The tripods in question, the 055PRO and 190PRO, are designed for professional use and offer maximum versatility. They have a central column distinctive with a unique dual function design. The column can be used both traditionally or as an arm horizontal that allows filming above one's head and take shots at angles impossible to achieve with tripods Traditional. The original design of both models are protected by a patent held by the Group Manfrotto. This proved to be a decisive factor in the successful outcome of the case, which was officially closed on January 9 with a ruling in favor of the company.
