Latin America. Avid certified 14 professionals from distribution companies of the brand in Latin America: Escape (2) and ARTEC (1) – Mexico, CIS (1) and LineUp (1) – Brazil, AVCOM (1) – Colombia, AVCOM (1) – Venezuela, VGL (1) – Chile, SVC (2) – Argentina, Video Broadcast (2) – Peru, Verite (1) – Panama, and BPE (1) – Ecuador.
Those who complete the five-day certification, ACSR (Avid Certified Support Representative), are trained and certified by Avid to provide technical assistance in connection with graphic products (software and hardware) such as: 3DPlay, Maestro, 4Designer, etc.
"This certification allows our distributors and representatives to have trained personnel "in-house" and give locally to their customers technical support in troubleshooting, configuration and installation of graphic systems. These trainings were created precisely because we understand that any emergency must be resolved quickly and efficiently, starting at the local level," said Ariel Sardinas, Sales Director of the video division of Avid Latin America and leader of this initiative.
"For us as Avid representatives in Mexico, ACSR certification is key, as it allows us to ensure a local service and value that few manufacturers can offer in the market; and it is especially useful for quick problem solving, saving our customers time and money," said Claudia Sanchez of Escape Audio S.A. de C.V.
Avid is in the planning phase of its second training session, tentatively to be held in September 2017.
